Snowflake Crochet Poncho Pattern

The crochet poncho is a great transition piece to keep you warm when transitioning between seasons or on cooler evenings where no jacket is needed. Ponchos go great with jeans! Ponchos for kids are also great. I know my kids can’t wait to take off those winter jackets when spring comes. But just because they want to take off their jacket doesn’t necessarily mean they should. Enter the poncho. They are ready to wear them thinking they are wearing a great piece and a cape to keep them warm.

Materials:

Yarn: Aran weight yarn. The pattern uses King Cole Forest in Balvian Woods (MC) and Hartwood Forest (CC). You could also use Stylecraft Special Aran or Paintbox Simply Aran.
You will need 4 (4, 5, 6) balls of MC and 2 (2, 2, 3) balls of CC.
Hook: 5mm
Scissors
Tapestry needle
3 Decorative Buttons (optional)
