60’s Squares Poncho Pattern

The crochet poncho is a great transition piece to keep you warm when transitioning between seasons or on cooler evenings where no jacket is needed. Ponchos go great with jeans! Ponchos for kids are also great. I know my kids can’t wait to take off those winter jackets when spring comes. But just because they want to take off their jacket doesn’t necessarily mean they should. Enter the poncho. They are ready to wear them thinking they are wearing a great piece and a cape to keep them warm.

SKILL LEVEL: EASY

What we’re going to do now is go back to the ’60s with this wonderful poncho with tassels. Just braid with Bernat Satin and whatever color it makes it meaningful to you, or stick to the highlight and do it as shown. Regardless of the hue, this fantastic top is a silky smooth finish that will turn heads.
